# Finance MCP (finance-mcp.com)

> Hosted, pay-per-run MCP server for financial data. One endpoint for crypto markets, options, US company filings and fundamentals, macro series and prediction markets. Sources: OKX, Deribit, SEC EDGAR, FMP (Financial Modeling Prep), FRED and Polymarket.

Not affiliated with the npm or PyPI packages named "finance-mcp".

## Endpoint
- MCP (Streamable HTTP): https://finance-mcp.com/mcp
- Auth: API key as `Authorization: Bearer fmk_...`, or OAuth (metadata at https://finance-mcp.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource). Without a key, discover/inspect work.

## Tools
- finance_discover (free): find tools by task description
- finance_inspect (free): input schema, output shape and credit cost of one tool
- finance_run (metered): execute a tool; failed vendor calls are not billed

## Pricing
- New API keys get 1,000 free credits
- Runs currently cost 1–2 credits each (see costCredits in /api/tools)
- Price per credit for top-ups is not yet published
